The work illuminates the resilient vitality of Jihayeojanggun, long overshadowed by the authority of Cheonhadaejanggun. It releases the energy suppressed within the frame of the totem pole through refined ballet technique and heavy Korean breath, expressing the nobility of the earth that has supported the world from the unseen. On a stage reminiscent of an Oriental painting where light and shadow coexist, it visualizes and conveys the solitary yet explosive dynamism of a hidden existence.

천하대장군의 권위에 가려져 있던 ‘지하여장군’의 강인한 생명력을 재조명한다. 장승이라는 틀에 억눌려 있던 에너지를 정교한 발레 테크닉과 묵직한 한국적 호흡으로 풀어내며, 보이지 않는 곳에서 세상을 지탱해 온 대지의 숭고함을 표현한다. 빛과 그림자가 공존하는 동양화 같은 무대 위에서, 가려진 존재가 지닌 고독하면서도 폭발적인 역동성을 시각화하여 전달한다.
