A dokkaebi Feast begins with the question, "To whom can we turn for the comfort we so deeply crave?" Centered on the lives of modern individuals, the production portrays the process of a Dokkaebi appearing to soothe their anxieties and guide them through their struggles.

The stage, where traditional imagination meets contemporary movement, creates a sense of vitality—like a small spark in the darkness—evolving into a festive banquet. The group dances evoke a communal sense of joy, while solos and duets delicately reveal individual emotions, driving the tension and flow of the performance. By expressing the mystical presence of the Dokkaebi through dance, the work naturally immerses the audience in its narrative.

A dokkaebi reconstructs the warm, comforting sentiment of the traditional Dokkaebi with a modern sensibility. It offers the audience a fresh imaginative experience, inviting them to view a familiar subject through an entirely new lens.

 도깨비잔치는 ‘위로받고 싶은 우리는 누구에게 위로받을 수 있는가?’라는 질문에서 출발한다. 현대를 살아가는 사람들을 중심으로, 도깨비가 등장하여 그들의 고민과 불안을 위로하고 길을 안내하는 과정을 그린다. 전통적 상상력과 현대적 움직임이 결합된 무대는 어둠 속 작은 불씨처럼 생동감을 형성하며, 잔치의 분위기를 만들어낸다. 군무는 공동체적 흥을, 솔로와 듀엣은 각각의 감정을 섬세하게 드러내며 무대의 긴장과 흐름을 이끈다. 작품은 도깨비의 신비로운 존재감을 춤으로 풀어내어 관객이 자연스럽게 이야기에 몰입하도록 한다.

도깨비잔치는 전통 속 도깨비가 지닌 따뜻한 위로의 정서를 오늘의 감각으로 재구성하여 관객에게 새로운 상상과 경험을 선사하고, 익숙한 소재를 새로운 감각으로 바라보게 하는 작품이다.
